Came Here to Forget – Part 2

1,2,3 shots to loosen up.
I don’t know what we’re doing but you’re here and that’s just my luck.
I’m laughing, you’re smiling. I’m having a good time.
But there’s something lingering in the back of my mind.
Deep down I want to drink till all my inhibitions are low.
Go back to your crib, watch Netflix. But I know we won’t make it to the first show.
I don’t know what we’re doing but I miss this feeling.
Your kisses on my neck and chest. Your touch is so healing.
Make me feel alive and forget about death.
I came here to I forget.
Forget all my skeletons, monsters and demons.
Smiling on the outside but inside I’m screaming.
Wrap your hand around my neck and I’ll wrap my legs around your waist.
I came here to forget. Take me to another place.
The sun slowly rises, what a beautiful mourning.
I came here to forget.
But I still here my demons calling.
