hese days living in the Bronx seems new to me.
But I was born and raised here so I speak the X language fluently.

My family occupied the Bronx for generations.
And now the continuation of that is in jeopardy thanks to gentrification.

Now dont get me wrong im all for some changes.
But the boro Ive grown to love is now filling up with strangers.

Out of towners who probably dont know or care about our boros history.
Or maybe they do but rather create their own. To me that’ll always be a mystery.

As time goes on I hope we can all coexist and let live.
Truth is, us natives are being priced out, no bueno, and something gotta give.
